2011- Present     Business Studies, Mathematics and Science Teacher, Toronto District School Board

  • Provide individualized accommodation by using assistive educational technology and facilitating Flipped Classroom teaching approach

  • Taught grade 11 Accounting and Mathematics courses through eLearning teaching platforms including Desire2Learn, Blackboard, Adobe Connect, Google Classrooms

  • Performed cohesive and learning objectives-oriented virtual classroom teaching

  • Collaborated with other business teachers by sharing best practices, refining teaching methods, and addressing academic and behavioral matters of students 

  • Implemented experiential learning approach by running student-led school store

  • Built a new course, Financial Securities (IDC4U), for senior business students integrating

  • current stock market simulations, technology, cross-curricular expectations, case studies, and real-life examples

  • Organized school-wide financial literacy workshops for students and teachers

  • Coordinated the Women in Leadership mentorship program for grade 12 business students with undergraduates at Schulich School of Management program
